Schengen-Visa-Insurance

Following the decision of the Council of the European Union on the 22nd December 2003 concerning travel Insurance, all the Embassies in the Schengen space are to request for Travel Insurance before Visa application is processed.

The directive became effective from 1st June 2004.

Apart from our local operating license obtained from NAICOM to transact Life and General Insurance business in Nigeria, MBC Insurance Brokers/Ace Europe France, has secured the approval of the Schengen Embassies in Nigeria to issue Schengen-Visa-Insurance to visa applicants traveling to the Schengen countries.

Our Schengen-Visa-Insurance is designed to cover medical repatriation costs, medical emergency costs relating to medical services following illness or accident during the period of stay in the Schengen space.

 

The Schengen Space:

The Schengen space is determined by the borders of the following countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Iceland, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden.

 

How to apply for Schengen-Visa-Insurance:

-Complete the application form clearly.

-Check the premium payable from the price matrix.

-Pay prescribed premium in cash into our Schengen a/c at any Fidelity Bank Plc branch office or pay cash at our head office South Atlantic Petroleum Towers, 7 Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island Lagos.

-Enclose copy of biodata page of applicant’s International Passport
